Retili privacy information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Retili collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our store, place an order, subscribe to recurring deliveries or contact us.

Who is responsible for your information

Retili and your privacy

Retili is operated by MathewEcommerce LLC, based in Casper, Wyoming, United States. We are responsible for the personal information we process for our retail business. For privacy questions or requests, email support@retili.com. Visiting our store does not by itself constitute consent to optional marketing or advertising cookies.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and phone number if provided.
  • Order and subscription details: purchased products, order history, payment status, subscription selections, delivery schedules, refunds and related requests.
  • Account and communication information: account details, preferences and information you send through forms, emails or support messages.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device details, cookie identifiers and information about how you interact with our store, subject to applicable consent requirements.

2. Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you when you browse, check out, create an account, manage a subscription or contact us. We also receive information through our store platform, payment services, subscription services and delivery partners, such as payment confirmations and shipment updates.

Some technical information is collected automatically through cookies, server logs and similar technologies. Optional analytics or advertising technologies, if used, are subject to the choices and legal requirements described below.

3. How we use information

  • Process payments, fulfil orders and provide delivery updates.
  • Manage accounts, recurring orders, cancellations, returns and refunds.
  • Answer questions and maintain customer service records.
  • Protect our store, detect fraud and investigate payment disputes.
  • Maintain and improve the store and understand its performance.
  • Send permitted marketing communications, respect your preferences and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

If you do not provide information needed to process a purchase, such as a delivery address, we may be unable to complete that order.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Payment information is handled by the payment services used at checkout. We receive transaction information needed to manage your purchase, such as payment status and refund records.

If you authorise a subscription, the relevant payment and subscription providers process information needed to manage recurring billing and orders. Cancelling future renewals does not necessarily remove transaction records that we must retain for accounting, legal or dispute-handling purposes.

5. Who receives information

We disclose information as needed to service providers supporting our business, including Shopify, payment processors, subscription providers, fulfilment partners, couriers, customer support services and professional advisers.

Where we use analytics or advertising partners, relevant device and usage information may be disclosed subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under some US state laws.

We may also disclose information to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect legal rights or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.

6. Shopify and external services

Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes information to operate its platform and may process certain information for its own purposes, as explained in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

External payment services and other websites you choose to visit have their own privacy notices. Please review those notices when using their services.

7. Cookies and marketing choices

Cookies and similar technologies support features such as your cart, checkout, preferences and store security. Optional analytics and advertising technologies, where used, may help measure visits or marketing performance.

Where consent is required, we use optional technologies only with your consent. You can use the cookie preference controls provided on the store to make or change your choices. Browser settings also allow you to block or delete cookies, although this may affect store functionality. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send essential messages about your orders, subscription or service requests.

8. Legal bases for processing

Where UK or European data protection law applies, we rely on the following bases, depending on the purpose:

  • Contract: processing orders, payments, subscriptions and related customer requests.
  • Legal obligation: meeting tax, accounting and other applicable legal requirements.
  • Legitimate interests: maintaining store security, preventing fraud, resolving disputes and improving our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: optional cookies and marketing activities where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

9. International processing

We operate from the United States and work with providers and fulfilment partners in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence.

Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we use the relevant approved mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy.

10. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Relevant factors include whether your account or subscription is active, the time needed to handle returns or disputes, and legal record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it as appropriate.

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. No website, storage system or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing or receive information in a portable format.

Right to object: where applicable, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to the use of your information for direct marketing.

Some US state laws may also give you rights to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision about a privacy request. Where these rights apply, use the store's relevant privacy controls or contact us. We honour applicable legally recognised opt-out preference signals where required.

Send requests to support@retili.com. We may need to verify your identity or an authorised agent's authority and will respond within applicable legal time limits. Some requests are subject to lawful exceptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

12. Children, complaints and changes

Our store is intended for general retail customers and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances requiring parental consent, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

You can raise privacy concerns with us or, where applicable, complain to your local data protection authority. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner's Office. EEA residents can contact the authority in their country of residence, work or the place of the alleged infringement.

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices or legal obligations. The revised policy will be posted here, with additional notice where required.
